Charla impartida por  Nicola Nicolson del Royal Botanic Gardens (Kew), donde explica algunas de las consideraciones a tener en cuenta a la hora de solicitar identificadores persistentes a un juego de datos.

Abstract:

During the workshop, Nicola Nicolson, from Royal Botanic Gardens (Kew), explains some of the considerations that must be made when applying persistent identifiers to a dataset. Topics as recommendations, vocabularies, reuse of PIDs, scope of data, transferring datasets, linked data or web services were presented here. Also, granularity of data - e.g. does a PID refer to a very specific, fine grained record, or to the 'group' of data associated with that record (affects the content of the resolution of the PID).
