Curso de postgrado: «VARIOUS FORMS OF KABBALAH IN CASTILE (THIRTEENTH TO FIFTEENTH CENTURIES)» - «ANGELOLOGICAL THEORIES» (2).

Tercera sesión del curso de postgrado «Various Forms of Kabbalah in Castile (Thirteenth to Fifteenth Centuries)», que aborda cómo más que en cualquier otro tipo de cábala, las formas castellanas se interesan por la angelología, un tema con fuentes más tempranas, pero que alcanza uno de sus puntos cumbre en la Castilla del siglo XIII. Parte de esta recuperación temática está relacionada con varias re-elaboraciones de tradiciones relacionadas con el antiguo mito de los ángeles caídos y su relación con las mujeres.

Third session of the course «Various Forms of Kabbalah in Castile (Thirteenth to Fifteenth Centuries)», which explains how more than in other forms of Kabbalah, the Castilian ones are concerned with angelology, a topic that has earlier sources, but reaches one of its peaks in Castile of the thirteenth century and again in an important Kabbalistic corpus written in the late fifteenth century. Part of this revival has to do with various elaborations upon traditions related to the ancient myth of fallen angels and their relations with women.
